There are a few people, like my 2 best friends that I have talked with already, but they know not to blab anything... or else!!! hahaha...
Well, my hopes for this blog is to share my journey from being a 2 person family to a 3 person family. My husband and I have been married for 3 years, and although I know he'd like to wait 10 years to have children, we both finally agree on starting our family. Just seeing what happens... go at it day to day.
Like I said, we are keeping our identity a secret, so I thought I would give my other half a nickname. First thing that comes to mind... Mountain Man. If you saw him, you'd know why!
A little back story, Mountain Man and I met at church... yup you heard right... I was 12 and he was 14 when we first met. Did I think he was cute then... no... I had no interest in boys at this point. But by the time I turned 15 I noticed him. My older brother, we'll call him Buddy, was my best friend. He was one person I could go too for advice or just to hang out. Well, he knew I had an interest in Mountain Man, and it just so happened that they were best friends. That's when Buddy told me that Mountain Man had his eye on me... say what!!! Well, we started hanging out in groups, because thats what good young kids do when they want to go on a date. By the time I turned 16 we were serious. I knew he was the man I was going to marry, I just knew it. We had never talked about marriage right away, the first time we had even mentioned marriage I was 18 years old. When I was 19, he popped the question (another story for another time), of course I said yes, and a year later we were married in a beautiful destination wedding. I can not wait to get out there again!!
Being married now for 3 years I'm so ready for a baby. I have been ready for sometime now but didn't want to pressure or push that responsibility on to Mountain Man when he wasn't ready. But now, bringing up talk about baby, Mountain Man is coming around. YAY! I can't wait to share with you about our journey. It may be a hard one, it may not... you never know till you try.
Here goes nothing!!!
